Our
first five Camp Cedar Valley Homecomings are in the books. We have had a blast,
shared some laughs and enjoyed the chance to not only renew old friendships but
make many new ones as well. Of course it wouldn't be "scout camp" without a
bunch of scouts having the chance to experience our old home for the first time
themselves. Take a few minutes and browse the 2007 photo album below for some
great reminders of our most recent gathering. Who knows, you might find
yourself or someone you haven't seen in a few years.
Planning is
underway for our next gathering in Septeber 2008. The date is now set, and we
are preparing to post registration information. We already can say that we're
sure the cost will be UNCHANGED from last year. This includes a special
discount rate for scout troops / leaders who camp for the weekend. Check back
on this site often for the official date and plans. Do you have ideas or
suggestions? Let us know now. This is YOUR homecoming!
Even if
you cannot make the homecoming the buildings have been extensively renovated to
provide some outstanding weekend (or week) getaway opportunties. Air
conditioning, showers (yes - they are indoors!), all the things you'd find in a
five-star hotel or retreat. Plus some outstanding fishing and seclusion to kick
