| Description: 1988 marked the 40th Anniversary of our
lodge. This unusually color schemed design was offered to mark the occasion.
Unlike prior issues, and partly because of the over ordering that occurred at
our 25th Anniversary, we took the unusual step of only selling this flap by
preordering. A few were purchased by the lodge for new Ordeal inductions, but
otherwise, this flap was never available for sale through the council
office or at lodge events. In recent years, a few unauthorized version of this issue have been seen that have a Reddish border color. No such prototype or issue was ever requested by our lodge. The origins of this flap are unknown, but we suspect that it is a manufacturing error, or the result of different border being used on an overrun flap.. Blue Book refers to this as the ZS5.
