1996 SR-9 Conclave Rejected Pin
| Description: For the 1996 Section SR-9 conclave the
intention was to have a "Participant" pin that would be restricted; much like
has been done for the NOAC conferences the last several years. The plan was
that the pin would then be placed on the black border 1996 SR9 Conclave patch
over the white oval area with the 413 logo. However, when the pins were
received, instead of the design depicting cedar trees, the manufacturer had
given them the appearance of oak trees. This was not satisfactory to
anyone so they were not used or distributed. In the years thereafter,
several were passed out, given way in grab backs or otherwise
released. |
